About Business Email
WebPros Cloud Business Email is a cloud-based email service for businesses. It gives you professional email hosting through a shared cloud system. This means you can offer a scalable email product to your customers without having to manage email servers yourself.
Because this service runs in the cloud, partners do not need to do any maintenance on individual servers. Business Email lets you manage all domains from one central dashboard.
Availability
Business Email is available for WebPros Partners. Partners can provision and manage email services for their customers using Manage2.
Business Email is a great fit for business owners and admins who need email they can count on. From the WebPros Dashboard, they can:
- Create and delete mailboxes.
- Reset passwords.
- Set up aliases and forwarders
- Configure catch-all addresses.
- Set up auto-responders.
- Manage mail filters.
- View delivery logs.
What’s Included
Business Email has the same core capabilities as cPanel-hosted email, with several upgrades:
Spam protection & deliverability — Business Email uses Imunify’s advanced spam filtering instead of the older, rule-based SpamAssassin. Imunify provides:
- Real-time threat detection, with proactive monitoring of outbound threats.
- Automatic switching to a new sending IP address whenever one becomes compromised.
- Improved email delivery through actively managed IP addresses that WebPros maintains.
Email authentication — A DNS Checker tool helps users set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC correctly to avoid problems that hurt email delivery.
Collaboration tools — Business Email supports CalDAV (calendar sync) and CardDAV (contacts sync). It works with Outlook, Apple Calendar, Thunderbird, and most standard contact managers.
Client setup — Business Email supports Autoconfig and Autodiscover. This makes it easy to set up external email clients.
Email routing — Business Email includes two redundant cloud MX servers with automatic switching for continuous service. This means you no longer need to manually set up backup MX records.
Partner and provisioning APIs — Partners can provision and cancel email services through the Manage2 interface.
The following features are not available:
- Email archiving — Partners serving regulated industries should use third-party archiving services.
- Mailing lists — Business Email is built for business communication, not email marketing campaigns. Partners who need bulk email campaigns should use dedicated tools.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — We plan to add 2FA for user login in a future release.
