FAQ

What if my organization does not have a WebPros Dashboard account?

Your WebPros Sales Engineer creates a WebPros Dashboard account for you automatically when they set up Business Email in your Manage2 account. This account uses the email address that you provided when you requested Business Email.

After you receive the WebPros Dashboard signup email, make sure to follow the instructions in it to activate the account.

For more information, read our Prerequisites documentation.

What if my organization already has a WebPros Dashboard account?

If your organization already has a WebPros Dashboard account, you will receive a welcome email confirming that your WebPros Sales Engineer has provisioned Business Email for you.

You can then log in to your existing WebPros Dashboard account to provision Business Email licenses for your customers.

For more information, read our Provisioning and Managing a License documentation.

What does my customer need to provide to provision a license?

To provision a Business Email license, you need the following customer information:

  • The email address for their WebPros Dashboard account.
  • Their domain name.
  • The number of mailboxes that they need.
  • Their preferred language.
  • Their preferred WebPros Cloud zone.

For more information, read our Provisioning and Managing a License documentation.

What if my customer does not have a WebPros Dashboard account?

If the customer does not have a WebPros Dashboard account, you can still provision the Business Email license for them. They will receive a signup email with instructions to create their WebPros Dashboard account.

What happens to data for a suspended license?

The system does not delete any data when you suspend a license. Business Email will continue to store inbound mail, but the customer loses access to webmail, IMAP, POP3, SMTP sending, and CalDAV/CardDAV.

Reactivating the license restores access immediately.

What happens to data for a cancelled license?

Cancellation is permanent account termination. When you cancel a Business Email license, WebPros removes all mailboxes and deletes all email content.

Warning:

After cancellation, customer data is not recoverable. Always confirm cancellation with your customer before you cancel their account.

For more information, read our Provisioning and Managing a License documentation.
