Prerequisites
Overview
Before you can sell Business Email to your customers, your WebPros Sales Engineer must configure your Manage2 account for Business Email and you must activate your WebPros Dashboard account. If you plan to use the Manage2 API to provision licenses, you must also have Manage2 API credentials.
Set up Business Email in Manage2
Manage2 does not list Business Email licenses by default. Instead, you must contact your WebPros Sales Engineer with the following information:
- The email address for the owner of your Manage2 account. We use this address to create your WebPros Dashboard admin account.
- The Business Email plans that you want to sell.
Your Sales Engineer will open a ticket to set up your Business Email account on Manage2.
Setup typically takes 1–2 business days.
Activate your WebPros Dashboard account
As part of the Business Email setup process, we create a WebPros Dashboard account for you using the email address that you provided.
- If you already have a WebPros Dashboard account with that email address, we will add the Business Email product to your existing account and send a welcome email.
- If you do not already have a WebPros Dashboard account, we will create a new account and send a signup email with instructions to activate your account.
Log in to WebPros Dashboard to confirm that your new account activated successfully. Then, you can provision your first Business Email license in Manage2.
Manage2 API credentials
If you plan to provision Business Email licenses using the Manage2 API, make certain that you obtain the necessary Manage2 API credentials. You can generate these credentials in the Manage2 interface.
For steps, read our Manage2 API documentation.
You only need Manage2 API credentials if you plan to use API-based provisioning. You do not need them to provision licenses through the Manage2 interface.
